Policies

All orders must be placed by 2 PM, five business days prior to the catering event.

Menu selected must be for all guests, with the exception of some individual diet restrictions. Deviations from the menu need 14 business days’ notice. Ensure meeting room is booked at least 30 minutes before start of meeting and 30 minutes after end of meeting to provide time for room set-up/take-down and delivery/clean-up of food.

In most cases, food events attended by Children’s employees will have disposable products used for service. China, flatware, and cloth napkins will be available upon request.

Labor charges, some at overtime or market rates, will be billed to the user cost center for events scheduled outside normal business hours or any day additional staff must be scheduled due to higher than normal volumes. Normal hours are defined as 7 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Labor charges will require the requestor's director’s approval.

Saturday and/or Sunday catered events will require senior director or above approval due to increased labor cost for the requestor’s cost center.

Delivery times and menus are subject to change as needed to meet demands of Food Service operations.

Cancellation of catered meals less than 48 hours will be charged at the full rate to the requestor's cost center.
